IR Wire

I love the orange slick wheels, really stand out. What is the wire attached for, and is that sealant I see???

Hi sorry for late comments, I been out for a while... this is previous model that used IR controller. and the IR receiver was placed into a hole and the sealant was for insulation I guess... Now Metro-Board uses the 2.4 ghz wireless wii nunchuck controllers..no more hole in the boards....
